Man, I feel like the world is on my shoulders
Everyone is leavening me, I feel like it’s almost over, someone
Please pray for me. My dreams become my nightmares
Because the only dreams I have are nightmares. Why, why do I
Feel like the world is upside=down, inside=out. I feel like the end is near. Man, I am confused.
My father used to tell me, son I want you to have
a good life, a beautiful wife,
kids and nice rides.
But unfortunately, I had
too much pride in my young life
and mess-up the dreams my dad had
but every time I remember.
When he used to pray
he always say “Dear Lord. I pray
that you keep my kids’ safe all day and everyday
but now every time I go to my dad’s grave,
I reminisce on
“the dreams from my Father.”
